Deccan Summer

I grew up in a place where summers are very sever touching up to 45 Degree Celsius, roads used to be empty hardly with any vehicle movements, school, colleges, and govt, and private offices use to change there timings from early morning to noon, during summers. you cant live in that place without fan or Air conditioner, the roads, house walls ,roofs will be very hot due to furry of burning Sun, and to add insult to injury power shutdown in that part is very frequent during summer, without power in home it will be like in living in hot burning furnace, you cant go out , you cant live in… that’s how is the natures has gifted the summer to that part of the world, in the meantime summers are good time for business, where ever you go you will find sugar cane juice gadiwala, fruit juice joints, coconut water, lassi wala , lemon jucie wala etc etc ;-)) will be available through out the city, by 6 pm or 7 pm even though sun rays will be weak but when you come out you will see hot air hitting hard at you, having said that people have adjusted superbly to the place, there is popular saying a person who can survive there can survive any where in the world,

When you pour cold water on the hot surface during those days the smell which you get is so nice that you cant put the feeling in words, to get this smell I used to clean my varanda ( out house ) by pouring water J

Hmm by now you must have got a little idea abt this place, it is not desert in Rajasthan nor the Sahara desert of Central Africa , but it is my sweet (hot ;) ) place in north Karnataka in southern India called Gulbarga also called as Kalburgi….wanna visit that place any time in future summer ? he he J
